Veneers are not reversible
Porcelain veneers need a thin layer of enamel removed. Once prepared, those teeth will always need a covering. If your teeth are healthy and the concern is colour, whitening or composite may be the better first step.

Before you decide
Porcelain veneers need a thin layer of enamel removed. Once prepared, those teeth will always need a covering. If your teeth are healthy and the concern is colour, whitening or composite may be the better first step.
Active gum disease, decay or infection have to be treated before cosmetic work. We look for these on your X-rays and photos, and will tell you if your plan has to start there.
An implant needs enough healthy bone to hold it. A 3D scan in Istanbul confirms this; sometimes a bone graft is needed, which adds healing time and a second visit.
Implant timeline
Bone needs time to grow around an implant before it can carry a permanent tooth. Clinics that promise final implant teeth in a single short visit are usually fitting temporary ones.

We ask the clinic for teeth that suit your face, age and skin tone, not the brightest shade on the guide. Before preparation starts you see a digital design, and for larger cases a temporary mock-up in your mouth, so you can change your mind while it is still easy.
Our dentist cofounder reads the plan with you and explains the trade-offs between composite, porcelain and zirconia in plain English.

Questions
For veneers and crowns, usually five to seven days: scan and preparation in the first days, try-in, then fitting. For implants, plan on two trips: about a week for placement, then a second week three to six months later for the final teeth.
Clear photos of your smile (front, both sides, upper and lower teeth) and, if you have one, a recent panoramic X-ray from your UK dentist. We reply with an indicative plan and price; it is confirmed after the 3D scan in Istanbul.
Tell your coordinator straight away and send photos. Our dentist reviews them and we arrange the next step with your clinic, which can be a video consultation, a repair on a return visit under the clinic's guarantee, or a referral to a UK dentist.
Usually, yes. You leave with a full record of what was done: materials, implant system and X-rays. Your UK dentist can carry on with routine check-ups and hygiene.
Yes. Most patients travel with a partner or friend. We arrange a double room and include their transfers; only their flights and meals are extra.
